What is Ontology-Based Data Acces (OBDA)?

The idea of OBDA is to enrich data with a semantic layer in the form of an ontology. More specifically, given a source Relational Database, a target OWL ontology and a mapping from the relational database to the ontology (usually in the form of an R2RML mapping), Ontology-Based Data Access (OBDA) concerns answering SPARQL queries over the target ontology using these three components.

What is the OBDA Benchmark?

The objective of this website is to bring together benchmarking efforts for OBDA systems. If you would like to collaborate in this effort, please contact Juan Sequeda (jsequeda AT cs DOT utexas DOT edu)
